Oracle, IDEXX and Tempus move on earnings and financing

CNBC reports that Oracle shares dropped another 6% after the company filed plans on Monday to issue new stock and more debt to help pay for its artificial intelligence expansion. According to the SEC filings, Oracle intends to sell $10 billion in common stock and $10 billion in senior notes.

IDEXX Laboratories climbed 20% after the veterinary diagnostics company beat third-quarter earnings and revenue estimates. CNBC says the gain was supported by growth in its Companion Animal Group. Third-quarter revenue was $1.21 billion, which was 10% higher than a year earlier. IDEXX also increased its 2026 revenue and earnings forecasts, while lowering its outlook for operating margin.

Tempus AI rose nearly 12% after third-quarter earnings, revenue and adjusted EBITDA came in above Wall Street expectations. CNBC reports that revenue increased 23% to $411.5 million. Within that total, data and applications grew 33%, and oncology volume growth accelerated to 32%. The company also raised its 2026 revenue forecast and repeated its adjusted EBITDA outlook.

SpaceX and Rivian gain on deal and analyst news

SpaceX shares were up more than 3% after The Washington Post reported the rocket and satellite company is in talks to buy Dish Network's Boost Mobile subsidiary or use its network. The newspaper said such a deal would give CEO Elon Musk a route into the $235 billion wireless market.

Rivian rose 10% after UBS upgraded the electric vehicle maker to buy. Analyst Joseph Spak said Rivian's recent decline creates a buying opportunity before what he sees as an inflection point in sales of the R2 midsize SUV.

Memory, energy and other stocks fall

CNBC says memory stocks continued their Friday slide, with Micron, SanDisk and Western Digital each down between 3% and 5%.

Energy shares also slipped as oil prices fell at the start of the week. ExxonMobil, Chevron and Valero each lost between 3% and 5%.

Marvell Technology fell 9% and Lumentum dropped 15% after Marvell agreed to buy the maker of high-performance lasers in an all-stock transaction valued at $115 billion. CNBC says the deal is expected to close in the first half of 2028.

Krystal Biotech delays several programs

Krystal Biotech shares plunged nearly 15% after the company said data for several treatments will now be delayed until 2027, including the readout for KB801, a gene therapy for neurotrophic keratitis. CNBC says that announcement outweighed a third-quarter beat on both revenue and earnings versus the FactSet consensus estimate.
